To sum up Year 2006,i've decided to do a self reflection of the entire year.

Year 2006 have been a rather eventful year for me.It was full of ups and downs. The year didn't start out good for me actually.I started failing in maths tests and everything which was fine with me initially since i didn't think it would be a long-term thing, however i was proved wrong. The band started to practise hard for the April Central Judging Competition. We managed to clinch the Gold with Honours award together with two other bands. It was a joyous thing of cause. Then came the mid year exams.I faired rather badly in my opinion. It was huge drop in standard compared to results obtained during the same period last year.I was affected quite badly as the results obtained in the midyear exams came both as a shock and setback to me.My parents wasn't happy either and i faced some problems and disapprovals from them as well.It really was difficult for me at that time but managed to pulled through them anyway.

(Reflection post divided into two posts, continue to read below.)

It was me and you against the world @ 12:29 PM

We proceeded to work towards the"best band of the year" goal that will be decided in July.In the end, we emerged as champions and became the first band here to achieve getting this award for 5 consecutive times. The process of getting those awards was very memorable. Those times under the sun doing formations and everything,i do not regret being a part of it.Outdoor ended there and Indoor came into the picture.School was like an everyday affair kinda thing, nothing new was going on during curriculum time, however in the friends aspect,i made a couple more good friends. It was a good thing, definitely.

Soon came the end of the year exams.A very stressful period of my secondary two life.I was worrying everday, being depressed and everything...crying.Thank god i had my friends around me to cheer me on.Without them,i reckon i would never make it to where i am now.Streaming results were out.I made it to a double science class but not of my choice, however i'm still thankful. Then came the 50th anniversary,rehearsals....when they ended it was our concert.Practised and came back to school practically everyday for that last two weeks.Tiring, but the outcome was rather satisfying.

The year 2006 taught me a lot of things. Firstly, it taught me how to treasure time and the people around me.Also if taught me not to let any"If onlys" to happen ever again. For example,"If only I did this, things wouldn't have turn out this way".In a nutshell,it taught me not to regret for something i should have done but didn't because that something could mean a a lot.

So that's the whole conclusion of year 2006 for me.

Happy new year folks!

It was me and you against the world @ 11:26 AM

You might want to kill me after reading this.I lost 50 bucks because i put it in my hp pouch and it dropped out when i took my phone out to call someone.F that person who picked it up.Lucky freak!I know i ought to be shot. Sheesh.Imagine the amount of things i could buy...thinking of it puts me off.Maybe not a lot but at least i could get myself my wallet and pencil box which supposedly was the case ,the reason why i had the 50 bucks with me.

Today's the last day of the year.I hope the new year brings better luck for everyone, especially me.Fancy losing money during the last few days of the year.SHEESH!!!!

New Year 2007 Resolution:

1)Not to be so blur!!(like for eg,dropping money without knowing!)

2)Get those lazy genes outta me.

3)Do well in all exams.

4)Get hold of my foundation in Maths and everything else.

5)To be happy=D

6)To be stronger emotionally, which means lesser tears.

7)Breeze through year 2007 without much difficulties.

8)For my family members to be in the pink of health and to be happy=)

9)World peace.

10)To meet YOU again.

Yup,so that's for the brand new year.

I shall sum up Year 2006 in the next post.

I'm currently trying to relax. Why?Because i've got 20 social studies articles left undone,oh and my maths worksheet that's missing in action and dang it!School's reopening.O.0 Why do they even give the homework when they're not going to collect it.My brother says there isn't a need to do my secondary 3 holiday homework unless i'm really that hardworking which he says he doubt it.=.=' i'm going to prove him wrong!Anyway he also said the teachers would never collect them.Up to you to believe,by i ain't taking the risk.

Wanyin says there'll be the top 100 countdown of songs tomorrow on the radio.I'll make time for it...if possible.Hmm...i've not listen to radio for quite some time now.I still remember during the last three weeks of preparation for EOYs, i was listening to the radio every single night while doing my stuff.Ha,memorable.

I'm not looking towards school's reopening,crap...i barely enjoyed my holidays which officially started on the 16th of december!!!What the hell?New class and perhaps a new beginning? We'll see.

-Because of you,i know what i want now but at the same time, because of you....i can't move on

The day started off with my mum, brother and i bringing our dog to the vet.He injured his left fore leg somehow which all of us got no idea how and thus causing him to limp around.HAHA,he looks very funny when he limps(not trying to be sadistic here) oh well...We had a hard time carrying him up and down the car(yes we had to carry because apparently my dumb dog doesn't know how to get down the car by himself and plus he's injured now) with his weight.Trust me,you wouldn't want to know his weight.=D So,had an X-ray taken and the vet found no fracture or anything so it was probably just a sprain.Likely reason of injury: He was too excited the day when we got back from japan and started jumping around, might have sprained his leg in the process. So yeah,a jab was given together with a couple of tablets and guess the cost of the whole treatment.A hundred bucks! Ok,at least he's not limping that much now...we rather pay to heal him than to have him crippled for the rest of his life.

The rest of the day was rather mundane and i felt really lethargic so i drifted away to dreamland. In the evening, went for my uncle's chalet.Had a good chat with my aunts and uncles mostly,my cousins and my brother went to play pool.Yeap, went home around 11+ and here i am,blogging.Gosh,i'm really tired.....goodnight everyone!

How would you feel if you knew you'll never see someone important to you again?

I'm reaching out for the Tokyo Tower...i'm almost there!
The skies in Japan are really nice, why aren't they here?
Beautiful eh?

-You appreciated such things, that's very rare nowadays.Where are you?

It was me and you against the world @ 8:54 PM

Note: Whole entry broken down into several posts.

Hey people! I’m back from Japan. Well I did enjoy myself there and it was like freezing cold. My family and I weren’t used to the Japanese cuisine meals we had there and omg! My dad was freaking lame throughout the trip, except for the last day…whereby he was quieter because he wasn’t feeling well. You do not want to know what he said or did, HAHA! Since it was winter, the skies were all dark by 5pm (Japan time, which is 4 pm here); it was as if it was 7pm here.

It was me and you against the world @ 2:34 PM

Day One.

Let me try to recall. Don’t expect the names of the places because I seriously can’t remember and I’m rather oblivious to my surroundings. Touch down at the Narita airport (I think) in the morning. Met my tour group people and well I got to say they’re rather boring! There was this stuck-up looking lady…I passed on that comment to my dad and he told me not to judge a book by its cover but guess what, a few days later my dad told me the same thing about the woman as well.HA!Ok that was a little sidetracking. Met the local tour guide from Japan, he’s actually Singaporean. I wasn’t expecting much like making new friends from my tour group because they seem rather…quiet. Our first destination was to the universal studios. Kinda fun there, sat most of the rides with my brother since my dad didn’t want to take it with us for the fear of vomiting and being sick. Last time, when we were in America, it was my dad who accompanied me through all the rides…I dragged him to take a certain ride for like 10 over times??!!Oh well. Yeah…the weather there was like freezing. If I’m not wrong it was 9 degrees on the day we arrived. I had to wear 4 layers of clothes. =.=’’ 1st layer: My clothes. 2nd layer: My jacket.3rd layer: A sweater.4th layer: A windbreaker jacket. And all these weren’t enough to keep me warm. I was still shivering and I really mean it. Gosh! I can’t believe it when I saw Japanese girls walking in mini skirts/shorts accompanied by high heels walking in the theme park. I don’t mean like one or two girls…it’s like everywhere I go I would see girls wearing such attire in the theme park and its winter! How did they ever manage to tolerate the strong winds and the cold weather??!! Played a few rides and called it a day. The bus journey to the hotel took like a few hours? Yep, that was day one basically.

It was me and you against the world @ 2:32 PM

Day Two.

We went to visit some Japanese temples I think, to see the structures. Some of the structures are really amazing, they didn’t use any nails to build the whole building and they actually manage to support the whole structure…wow! That’s actually about it.

It was me and you against the world @ 2:27 PM

Day Three.

We went to Fujikyu Highlands, it’s a theme park. Well, from there we got to know one of our tour mate called Alex. He’s seventeen, same age as my brother but much taller. We actually thought he was some university student or something but it turned out he was still studying in the JC. Sat most of the rides together. We sat this super fast roller coaster kinda ride….it went like 170km/h I think. I forgot actually but it’s really fast. I felt as if my hair was left behind when the ride started. Then we proceeded on to another roller coaster ride, it’s suppose to be Japan’s highest roller coaster. Quite exciting especially when it came to the drops. I was screaming my lungs out. It was quite cold over there, so cold that even before the ride began, my brother was shivering. For me, I’ve got four layers of clothes so I wasn’t that cold.Bleahs. We bought a pass that entitled us to three rides, since it was almost lunch time, we had to go but my brother wanted to sit another ride(something like a roller coaster as well).I didn’t want to take that ride cause I knew it I were to take that, I wouldn’t be able to take my lunch, I’ll probably be feeling damn sick for the whole day, so I gave my ticket to Alex since he initially wanted to sit that ride as well but used up his three passes. In the end, they missed out on lunch and ate on the bus. Next stop was to Mount Fuji. It was a majestic sight from afar however when you’re there on the mountain itself, it’s so-so. There’s harden snow there on the mountain so didn’t have much fun playing with it, unlike when we were in grand canyon whereby the snow was really soft and nice to play with.

It was me and you against the world @ 2:27 PM

Day Four.

It was raining and it was freezing cold, much colder than the other days. Bad day to go to Disney Land but we still had to go as planned. Alex came along with us for all the rides. We were all soaking wet from the knees, our pants, our shoes…my hair was also wet, and so were my gloves. I was shivering while queuing for the rides; I think I could hear my teeth chatter. Did you know a balloon cost 600 yen in Disney land? That’s about 8 dollars. Day light robbery! Anyway we managed to get free balloons or rather Alex managed to. He found it somewhere near the railings and was very happy about it.HAHA! So…actually the Tokyo’s Disney Land is rather similar to the one in America…the rides…the settings…everything the same only everything is in Japanese and I’ve got no idea what all the characters and the people are talking about.=p

It was me and you against the world @ 2:26 PM

Day Five

Went to do shopping at some place but before that we went to see the Tokyo Tower. Why do guys like fake miniature swords, guns etc.Yea, do the whole time we were there, my brother and Alex were searching for those kind of things. Things I’ll never understand.HA. We had to leave at 3pm to proceed to the airport. Dropped off Alex’s family at some hotel first, they were staying in Japan for a couple more days and yeah, after bidding farewell we made our way to the airport for the check-in and to board the plane.Plane flight sucks. Very uncomfortable and some moron from my tour group had to lean his seat so far back.Grrrs.Oh I noticed something as well, in Japan there aren’t any rubbish bins lying on the streets, not even one. So if you want to throw something, you’ve got to bring it all the way back to the hotel or your house to throw it. =D

Overall I really enjoyed myself.=)

Will upload pictures if possible .By the way did you know the skies are really nice in Japan?

By the way,HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL PHANG!

Whoo, back from watching Night at the museum with tiffany, rachel and wanyin. The show was very funny."Quiet.....my dumb dumb has something to say" quoted from the show.Go watch it,it's worth your time and money.

I had a very interesting time with rachel phang at the mrt before that. We were waiting for wanyin initially to make our way to bugis.I was the earliest to reach, hence while waiting for rachel 2 trains passed by. When she came,we waited for wanyin and 3 trains passed by us,in the end we found out wanyin had already reached bugis.Grrrr.OMG then when the train reached paya lebar mrt station, guess who we saw.A teacher who loves purple.Get the hint?Rachel and i kept laughing and giggling and she standing behind us.

What the hell is wrong man?Fancy you making such a big fuss over such things.Wth?Its merely the clearing up of some books and piles of papers, you don't clear them up today, then do it some other day la,what's the freaking rush? Its not as if its the end of the world if i don't clear them up.

Things like that are such a put-off,sheesh!

My neighbours had taken my doggies away,i mean to take care. They seem really really enthusiastic about it,oh well...I do hope everything will go fine with my dogs and their dogs, hope they won't fight!=p

Dark gloomy clouds everywhere. It has been raining for the past few days and i mean the whole day.Other countries have snow for winter, here we have rain as a replacement=)Anyways the weather's cool and nice, there's no need for aircon anymore.

So...i'll be leaving for japan this friday.Hooray! I can barely wait. However,i can forget about buying lots of things there i guess. The things there are like freaking expensive i heard.I heard going to the puclic toilet alone costs you like around 1000 yen??!!Which is like...13 s'pore dollars?Crap,it's as if we're using gold-plated toilet bowls and toilet paper with gold lining.=pWell...i'm not sure how true it is either though i seriously hope it isn't the case.

Omg,i'm starting to hate maths just by looking at the sec three syllabus.Oh no,hold on.Let me correct myself.I'm starting to hate maths EVEN MORE because i never liked maths in the first place since secondary 2.Bleahs.Good luck to me next year.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh yeah and one other thing.I LOATHE people who says something but does another or says something about others but he/her does thaf very thing in actual fact oh and that includes false accusations.Something tickles me when i saw someone's profile.I won't type out what exactly did he/she wrote but here's the rough concept of saying one thing and doing another.So...if that SOMEONE comes across this post, wow! It'll be good to do some self-reflecting. Someday you'll have a taste of your own medicine.

---XXX's profile---
I hate backstabbers.

However, stupidly and maybe but unlikely unknowingly,she's/he's one.

Till then,
people put on facades infront of one another, that's how fake the world is.

Gosh,it's been pouring whole day long.

Its been a rather mundane day...ok maybe not so.Well had maths tuition today. At last a little work done for the holidays.I've still got homework to do,the maths worksheet and the social studies homework.Social studies homework is a waste of time.I hate it when you do and they don't collect it,just like last year.We put in the effort and they don't even bother to collect them...like what the hell?Heard many people were planning not to do them...oh well.

Hmm,gotta finish all my homework by thursday before i leave on friday. My dad's been rather lame.I think i've got the lamest dad and that's a good thing=).He's been making my brother and i laugh the whole day.He does the lamest thing in public and even in the car!Have you ever heard of someone wanting to bring syrups to a mountain with snow to make ice kachang or asking someone to eat ice-cream when he/she is on a mountain and its freezing cold? That's my dad folks! To me,he totally rocks as a dad.

Also,I'm kinda worried for my dogs when i'm away, especially the older one which is MY dog.I'm leaving them in the care of my neighbours for a few days.I hope nothing happens to my beloved dog,i hope it wouldn't think i'm abandoning it and i pray it eats well.At least,my dogs will have another two dogs for company and one of them's a bitch.Haha...what if they mate?! I'll have more adorable puppies!=)

Let's hope everything goes on smoothly yeah?Toodles!=).

We did great for the concert.

Guess what,i tore 3 stockings yesterday. One before i step out of house, second when i barely started practising in school, third just after the concert ended.=p

We headed to the concert venue in the early afternoon to get use to the place. We practised and tuned ourselves till around 7pm,of cause we had our dinner break.Dinner was good!So when it was 7pm,we headed back to that waiting room somewhere donwstairs. Its kinda confusing in SCH.Its so big internally as well,so many doors...i got lost once.HA.

So when the time struck,we had to station ourselves behind the doors of the stage.By looking at the tv which showed the scenario in the hall, all of us got nervous.SO MANY PEOPLE!We walked out soon after and started playing. Soon, the nervousness started to subside and before we knew it one hour had passed!Four songs played by us and 3 others by the junior band.

I went to find my family and friends during the intermission.Yeah, sadly time was limited and i had to go back backstage to get ready so i didn't get to interact much with my friends nor aunty fe...and i was LATE!OMG.When i went backstage everyone had their instruments already and were in their lines...my instrument was still in the room...DOWNSTAIRS!!Ha,anyway i got back in time...panting.Hehe.Performed the second half of the show.We played two encore pieces since the audience wanted and our signature piece. The concert ended there.

Packed our stuff and went back to school to keep them.Had a debrief and well,we ended year 2006.It was a wonderful day.Mr muz and Mr chia has officially stepped down as well, hope they come back often!

SO....it was a wonderful night.=)

It feels kinda weird on how i feel about certain things.Maybe i'm thinking a little off track, maybe i shouldn't be expecting too much,maybe....i should stop.

I'm feeling double-sided.One side of me says it's seriously okay but somewhere deep inside me,i know it isn't.There's still the mindset i have, the expectations i've set.Hmm....i don't know.

Will i feel happy?

Woo...i'm back from escape.Well...i've got sunburn by merely standing under the sun queuing up for the rides. Eight of us went and i think we had fun screaming our lungs out and everything.

Haunted house wasn't that scary anymore though cause i had more people with me.The guys stood behind the girls and we were rather lame during the whole thing. Well of cause they had that person wearing the mask crawling on the floor trying to scare the hell outta you. When i saw the person's legs and shoes my fear started to subside a little and i went,"hey, you're shoes are quite nice..."haha .Previously the first time i went, the person who went scaring people, i couldn't see the hands nor the legs or the face, everything was covered up so it was more scary.I heard people telling me there were robots in the house so i thought that was one, yep. Our group got stucked at one point,no one dared to walk forward as there was a curtain we had to walk through and as you know, there would always bound to be something hiding behind it to scare you...Yup..so masked person who was initially crawling came and stood behind us,he kept pointing to the direction infront of us.This time rachel went,"is that the way to go,is yes please nod your head." & i said,"can you help us to lead the way?"LOl,i mean what the hell,he's suppose to scare us and there we're like talking to him,i wonder if he got pissed with us somehow>.<

Overall, the rides we sat were really fun la.

Fun aside,i've still got homework to do.Firstly,i've lost my maths homework=).Secondly,i have not started collecting a single article for social studies.Bleahz.Oh and suddenly writing with a pen seems so weird, guess its because i've not done much hand-written work recently.Gah,i'm off to do social studies, tata.

It was me and you against the world @ 7:57 PM

I thought i would be okay until....anyway i want to thank rachel, wanyin and wynne for being there for me today. I managed to let certain things out and i felt a whole load more better. Though i'm still pretty upset about IT,but i'll be thankful for whatever i've got now and i really am.

As expected, my mp3 came to use.Ha.Crap...i've been crying a lot this year. What has got into me man,why am i so emotional this year?Sheesh.Next year, a whole load of new friends. I still miss 2B'06 a lot...next year it'll be 3E'07,i wonder how it'll be like.

I've been thinking a lot about what had happened this year, its self-reflection time for me. Looking back from the day since i stepped into secondary one until today, i've changed a lot.I've got to say this year passed pretty quickly for me. In a twinkling of an eye,its already 9th december, oops i mean 10th since its already 1am in the morning...it seemed just like yesterday whereby i was getting ready for secondary two. I still remember packing my bag for the first day of school, helping out in decorating the class noticeboard, preparing for the competition in april and then for the competition in july...and the list goes on.

My self-reflection shall continue...but what i can say is,it has been a memorable and wonderful year so far with many memorise captured and kept.=)

Maybe i shan't blog about 50th anniversary any more since anyway i think many others have blogged about it...its pretty much the same as what the others had wrote. The event went on pretty smoothly and the school compound was very pretty that night, especially with those tiny christmas-like light bulbs hung up.Yep...

Yesterday, went out with a group of friends. A,B,C and D. We had fun playing those rides and games. We won ourselves each a soft toy, haha and we even have names for them!Won't elaborate much on what we did in the afternoon though. After we had enough, we went to the airport to have our dinner but only 4 of us went, the other had to go home.We ate at... SWENSENS! Omg...I feel pretty guilty...Anyway, we were laughing our heads off when it came to the cost splitting part, somehow all of us just started laughing because of one person who started it first.

After dinner, we went to supposedly the viewing gallery to look at planes but couldn't really see anything because the glass windows of the airport were frosty...

Anyway....HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEKU!!! =)

Well. I've not blog for days. Reason being....

1) I'm sick of trying to rewrite each long post that could'nt be posted for some stupid idiotic reason and after all the hussle, the post still couldn't be posted.

2) I am sick. WOOHOO. I've got M.C

So yeah.I've been sneezing/coughing/ahem-ing the whole of yesterday.. Now it makes me wonder, do coughs, flus and sorethroats come in a package.Seems like it to me, one come all come together.HEH.

Today, finally a rest day. Managed to get time to go out with some of my friends. We had fun la i guess.I guess i'll try to post about the 50th anniversary and today's outing some other time, though by now its kinda outdated already....

Hmm...whee! I'll be off in 16 days. Let the count down to freedom and stress-free days begin.

Back from today's rehearsal.

Gosh. So it was full dress rehearsal and we were in our uniform.Very warm!!It's like we're in a sauna or something. Well, dinner sucks. It was like at this freaking time of 4pm??!!Hello?!Who the hell eats dinner at 4pm?Its more like a late lunch or tea break kinda thing. I was still rather full and dang it, i was kinda in pain and agony...(you were'nt know why) in another words-not feeling well, hence i lost my appetite too. So i only ate barely half of the meal. By 8pm, i was hungry. Many others were too but we had 2 hours more to go. All of us were like talking about going for supper and how impossible it was to go to sleep without eating food.SUPPER IS A MUST!!!

In the auditorium, we just kinda slacked till they called for us. Walked up and down and waited for time to pass. Then well the usherers were there too at times so i saw the beloved commoner and my dear sister.Had fun talking to them for awhile and sister decided to try on my court shoes with her socks on.+.+''Go on,imagine someone wearing court shoes and socks.=)

Sigh, i think my handphone might be a gone case. Well, it plain stupid.I've got 1000+ messages in my inbox which actually caused my phone's memory to be full.I'm trying to delete them but i can't apparently the phone gave me this alert: Phone memory too full to carry out operation, please delete some memory first.Ironic isn't it?I'm trying to delete my messages and they deny me of doing it.GAH!!!The last time this happened to me was when i had 3000+ messages in my inbox and i had to send it for servicing to get rid of the problem.I don't want to send my phone for servicing because they're gonna delete all my messages, however there are several messages that i want to keep for remembrance sake. How?

Hope my phone decides to "recover" on its own tomorrow.Dang it, i can't receive not send messages now, how "wonderful"...
